HGV, LGV & PCV Medicals

Dr Wilkin performs HGV/LGV medical examinations for vans, trucks, horseboxes, etc. PCV medicals are carried out for buses, minibuses and coaches. Some other medical examinations are done such as :-

Insurance company medicals

Private hire / Hackney carriage (taxi) medicals for local authorities

British Sub-Aqua Club & PADI medicals for scuba diving

Racing Driver medicals for motorcar, motorcycle and motorcross.
Drivers 45 years old & those requiring an International licence need an exercise ECG arranged at the local hospital cardiology unit.

a) £40 cash*

b) Driving Licence

c) 1 other identification, eg: Passport, bank guarantee card, birth certificate

d) Medical Exam Form: D4 for LGV/PCV
(or Taxi medical form, or PADI form as required)

e) Contact lenses/glasses must be removed
for the eye test

f) Bring tablets/medicines prescribed by
your doctor

g) A urine sample is needed

h) Clean clothes/socks please

* There is an additional charge of £5 for room hire and secretarial time in Ealing, making a total of £45 at Ealing.

Adequate Spoken English
The examination is carried out in English. There will be no rebate, and no responsibility taken for any candidate who does not speak sufficient English as judged by the doctor to permit accurate completion of the D4 Form and medical examination.
